Safe bet is to assume its been open to moisture and bin it!

put Vity on Facebook marketplace and it sold in 24hrs with 3 enquiries Now getting P's Sportster ready for sale. Took it out to a local bike night I found at Leeming Bar about 2 miles away. No back brake made life exciting. Does anybody know if Dot 5 brake fluid was ever a cleary yellow?. Bike should have Dot 5, says on brake cover, but my Dot 5 is purple??? Any thoughts? Does it loose it's colour after time?? We have only had bike 20 years so I'm not used to it yet.

Couldn't make Hornsea (otherwise occupied with Carol's birthday, qickly followed by the dreaded covid).
Still trying to shake off the symptoms and as yet unable to find any reason to recommend it! Can't even reconcile myself to making a contribution to "herd immunity" - bugger the herd!!!!

« Last post by Bald Eagle on August 03, 2022, 06:55:08 pm »Howdy SF, nope not melted into a foreign country. Not a lot happening over here bike wise, not been out on bikes since I had them MOT'd. Got a new tyre fer 1972 Triumph Daytona I'm working on, might get it put on next year...heh heh Hope yer event draws a lot of bikes.
