I had to MOT the motorhome! Who ever goes for an MOT and doesn't check the brake lights?

I had to replace the heater matrix ages ago, but got in a lovely mess with the wiring. Everdently didn't reconnect the brake lights and never noticed. End result - an embaressing failure!!!

Keep smiling!

The "guv'nor" is now seeming somewhat "happier" (wonders will never cease). However, there was apparently an absence of spare body parts for VW Ups in the UK, resulting in the car not being repaired until the 16th of this month.
I wouldn't mind that but the Vauxhall we have been provided with is crap!!!! It has a drivers seat with the ability to upset my recurring back trouble within a mile!!!!
Keep smiling!

Vity and my Sporty MOT'd last week, he actually checked the seal on the vity petrol cap  :o and it had split so got an advisory. HD sailed through. Decided to use the Exempt form from DVLA for Sweetpea's HD which when presented with tax renewal (also free of course on a 67 bike) meant tax was renewed and MOT not officially required. Never really thought about it before, but also like the bike checking,  mmmmmmm..

Antway, 2 HD and a Vity fer sale, not sure where to advertise it, any thoughts, don't fancy Ebay tyre kickers etc. 1972 Triumph Daytona has had it's tank, side panel and oil tank painted, new rear mudguard ordered, nice little machine to work on.

Waht's happening with everyone else? and oh Neil called in to see us, on his lovely Heritage, what a stunner  :)

Sorry to hear of accident, rib damage gives excruciating pain, I found that out after crashing my V.F.R. on patch of diesel many years ago!
Hope ribs and V.W. recover soon.
The non. responding seat belts & air bags doesn't help confidence with German engineering.
Get well soon.

The stunning silence from this end has been caused by a somewhat surprising present from Bradford. I had only shortly before been saying to my son-in law that the standard of driving nose dives as soon as you cross into West Yorkshire (apparently caused by the higher population of "boy racers"). That was soon proven correct when Carol and I got a windscreen full of Audi A3!
Apparently crossroads cause people of a certain persuation (didn't know I could still be that PC) some confusion! The contest between our VW and its German counterpart was a resounding victory for the peoples car!!! His is almost certainly a "write off"!
I just got a wallop on the elbow, but Carol came off worst by virtue of a seat belt injury to her ribs (will be quite sore for a few more days yet). A short note is going to VW however, inspite of the impact the air bags failed to deploy and the seat belts tensioners also failed!!!!!
Happy Days!
